In the words of legendary baseball player Yogi Berra, it was ‘deja-vu all over again’ earlier this month as two building-ladened trucks made their way across Parklands under the cover of darkness. On this occasion it was two halves of the former Freeville School Hall that were being delivered to the Pūkeko Centre’s Chadbury Street site.
The arrival of the Hall represents another significant milestone for the project. Having a facility of this scale on site will open up an incredible range of possibilities and opportunities for the whole community.
