It was with mixed emotions that we watched the final remnents of the old Parklands Bowling Club Clubrooms being scooped up and removed from site last at the end of last month. The old building had served the club well until the 2010/2011 earthquakes.
On July 26th a large contingent from the Bowling Club gathered in the new Pavilion to say their goodbyes to the old building and share some of the many memories of fun times spent there over the years. It was a time to look back but also a time to look ahead to the exciting Stage Two developments which will be starting to take shape over the next twelve months.
